We decided to check out Otto’s Burger one Saturday afternoon quite spontaneously, after we failed to eat at a restaurant that we originally planned to. Luckily we were at Schanze, and we heard of many great restaurants around, and Otto’s Burger is one on our list to try, that’s how we decided to eat there.
Before we were seated, we were attracted by the decoration of the place. It looks chic and stylish, on a sunny day when the windows are opened, it’s also nice to sit next to them and enjoy the nice food and weather. The staff is very friendly, also English menu is available which comes handy to expats who don’t speak well German.
The food taste delicious, especially the Trüffel Burger. The different layers of flavour from the burger, with the mushroom and the sauce were remarkable. What a great combination. We saw the Oreo Milkshake was made from a few scoops of ice-cream and a whole pack of Oreo, it’s a bit guilty to drink it because of the calories, but it’s REALLY delicious. It’s one of those comfort food we would like to have once in a while.
The second burger was a double patty bacon witch came together with a separate portion of french fries and lemonade.The bacon’s taste was definitely going very well along with the juicy patties. If you happen to be hungry and want something tasty to fill you up then you might want to give this a try.
Will we ever go back to Otto’s Burger again? Well definitely if we are in the neighborhood and we are up for burgers, we will pay a visit.
