This is the third “The Bird” restaurant we visited in Germany. Before that, we visited the one in Cologne & Hamburg. And especially the one in Hamburg, we really like it. Not only because of its juicy and big portion burgers, but also their New York Cheesecake is one of the favorite cheesecakes we ever had!
As soon as we arrived in Berlin, we already have The Bird on our mind and would like to check it out. We would like to see if the quality remains the same and if that will also be one of our favourite burger places in Berlin.
So The Bird has passed our test for the burgers, it’s still super delicious. With the muffin bread, juicy beef in the middle, and a full plate of fries – it’s the typical feeling of eating out there, so full that we can’t eat for the rest of the day! However, the cheesecake was kinda disappointed. It lost the creamy texture as we had in Hamburg, and it’s definitely not worth it for me to save a bit of my stomach from the main meal to have the dessert.
Overall the place is super busy, so if you would like to guarantee a place (especially with a large group of friends), better make reservation in advance! The burger there tastes really good, and it’s a place we will recommend if you are looking for good burgers!
