La Crêperie offers a convenient set menu option, perfect for those who want to sample a variety of their offerings. We opted for this set, which included two main courses, two decadent desserts, and drinks. This allowed us to experience the best of both worlds – their savory and sweet specialties.
Savory Success: Cod and Scallops Take Center Stage
Our exploration began with the main courses. The Cod Fish Fillet and Scallop Pasta were both delightful. The cod was cooked to perfection, flaky and flavorful, while the scallops in the pasta were tender and perfectly complemented by the sauce. However, as the restaurant’s name suggests, the true stars of the show were yet to come.
Crêpe Perfection: Le Pecheur & La Sexy Suzette
Living up to its name, La Crêperie’s crêpes are truly a sight to behold (and devour!). We indulged in two enticing options – Le Pecheur and La Sexy Suzette. Le Pecheur was a symphony of chocolate sauce, caramelized banana, whipped cream, and frilled almond, offering a delightful balance of textures and flavors. La Sexy Suzette, on the other hand, was a showstopper. Featuring mango sorbet, homemade lemon cream, and a dramatic flambé with Cointreau, it was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. Both crêpes were perfectly executed, with just the right amount of sweetness, ensuring we savored every single bite.
