Sometimes, the best culinary discoveries are those you don’t plan for it. Going into FACTORY GIRL Restaurant with empty stomachs and open minds, we were met with a delightful surprise: a vibrant atmosphere, friendly service, and most importantly, delicious food!

Located at Auguststraße in Mitte, Berlin, FACTORY GIRL offers a menu that blends healthy and hearty options, perfect for a satisfying brunch or lunch. We dove straight into their “Chubby Dude” sandwich – a name that lives up to its promise, the sandwich filled with delicious chicken, eggs, grilled tomatoes, and grilled paprika with chipotle mayo! This hefty creation comes packed with deliciousness, and we opted to add a side of potatoes to complete the feast.

For those seeking something lighter, the Shakshuka is a great option. Perfectly cooked eggs nestled in a flavorful tomato paprika sauce, it offered a delightful balance of textures and tastes. The menu mentions the option to request more bread for free, but the generous portions ensured we were comfortably full after our meal.

A special shoutout goes to the staff at FACTORY GIRL! Their genuine friendliness and helpfulness truly elevated the dining experience. One instance that stood out: even though a waiter was on his break, he noticed us wanting to order and kindly offered to take it for us. Such small gestures go a long way in creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere.

We arrived around 2 pm on a whim, and luckily, the restaurant wasn’t overly crowded. However, it’s worth noting that seating seems limited indoors. If the weather isn’t ideal for outdoor dining, it might be wise to make a reservation in advance, especially during peak hours.
