Takumi is one of our favourite Ramen restaurants in Dusseldorf. Now we’ve moved to Berlin, we realize that there are also two branches of Takumi in town. Therefore we decided to pay a visit and see if they are as good as we expected!
Noukou Tori Shio Ramen is one with chicken soup based. A lot of ramen places offered Shio, Miso, Tonkotsu based ramen, but not many offer chicken soup based. That’s why we are happy that Takumi 9 Sapporo is serving this! The soup is rich and full of chicken flavour, not as rich as what we recalled in Dusseldorf, but it’s still good. (Sometimes when the broth is too rich, we find it too heavy for our stomach.)
Nanban Tantan Ramen and the Teriyaki Meshi taste great too! We were not exactly sure what to expect with this appetizer with potato, we saw it on the special menu, and thought why not. It turned out to be potato wedges with some Japanese seasoning.
We were there for an early dinner/super late lunch. So we didn’t have any problem to get a table. But when we were leaving, we started seeing people waiting to get seated. The place also doesn’t seem to take reservation. But it’s a place that we like, and it has quite a huge variety of broths for ramen. We will definitely try our luck and come back again!
