The atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant are fascinating – we simply love it. With all the Japanese style decorations inside, the poster on the wall and the lanterns, that’s really pretty.

We started with Karaage chicken, which is Japanese style fried chicken. It is served with lemon and Japanese mayo. Some of the chickens taste perfect, but some are a little bit overcooked and is a little bit dry.

The ramen tastes decent, still not the greatest ones that make us miss it all the time. We would expect the Tantan ramen a little bit spicy. The soup base is miso base, it’s what it’s – have a very strong miso taste.

For the Tonkotsu ramen, the soup is not rich enough for our taste, and the noodle is a little bit too soft. The grilled pork tastes quite delicious though.

Both lemonades taste unique and different, but the blackcurrant one tastes stronger and better.

Overall, we really like the vibe at the restaurants. The service from the staff is great. The food tastes above average compared to some other ramen restaurant we’ve been to in Hamburg. We would like to visit again and try out some other ramens.

Food we ordered:

  • Opps I Dropped the Dim Sum
  • Hatcho Miso Ramen
  • Tantan Ramen (Day Special)
  • Lavender & White Peach Lemonade
