Luigi’s

Luigi's

The restaurant is super popular and crowded for a weekend evening. Even though with an online reservation, we waited in line for more than 30 mins. We don’t really like the waiting arrangement, the waiting area is just inside the hallway of the restaurant, which was super crowded with the waiters walking back and forth. We got a glass of Prosecco when we entered to enjoy while we wait. The waiters are trying their best to make the best out of the situation, but we think waiting in the hallway is not the best and safest for both the waiters and the customers.

Other than pizza, Luigi’s also serve other appetizer and pasta. But majority of the customers order pizza. The pizza tasted very delicious. The crust is not very thick, but they are using a “stone oven” to grill the pizza, which makes it really delicious. We love both our pizzas a lot!

The tiramisu also tastes very good, with a subtle of coffee taste. It’s very creamy and not too sweet. What I wish that could do a bit better is the lady finger biscuits taste a bit dry. After dinner, the waiter also left 2 bottles of aperitifs with 2 shot glasses for us to enjoy.

Overall, other than the waiting time and the sitting is a bit crowded, we love the food and we also think the waiters are doing their best job to serve us. The portion of the food is big, and the price is very reasonable, which makes it very good value for money. We highly recommend to come during lunch time or when it’s not the peak hours for meal, but we definitely wouldn’t want to come here again during peak time.

Food we ordered:

  • Pizza Diavolo
  • Pizza prosciutto & fungi

  • Tiramisu
