The Lesser Panda Ramen

The Lesser Panda Ramen

Very friendly staff and nice environment. It’s a pop up restaurant and it’s interesting to see how the chef prepare all the food.

Food is not bad, but if you are looking for the more traditional Japanese taste for ramen, then this is not the right place for you. You can tell it’s not an authentic Asian Recipe, but more kind of ‘Asian food in European style/with a twist’.

We love the Lavender & White Peach Lemonade in specific. The ‘Opps I dropped the Dim sum’ is interesting as well – it tastes good, but we cannot pretty much identify/understand what we were eating. The Hatcho Miso ramen noodle is very unique, a bit thicker and more chewy than the usual Japanese ramen. However there are too many strong flavour mixed in the ramen, everything tastes very strong and they don’t really go along. One of the special menu is not available, so we are offered this Tantan ramen with Sichuan Pepper. We think the taste is great, but the thick noodle is not to our taste.

Overall, it’s not on our favourite list, but we can go there again in the future. Especially nice with a group of friends to chill and enjoy a weekend evening.

Food we ordered:

  • Opps I Dropped the Dim Sum
  • Hatcho Miso Ramen
  • Tantan Ramen (Day Special)
  • Lavender & White Peach Lemonade
