The Ramen

The Ramen

The Ramen is one of the restaurant that serves Japanese ramen at a reasonable price in the city center. The restaurant is not very big, but it’s easy to get a seat. There are only a few ramen and appetizer to choose from the menu – which cover a few most basic ramen soup like Miso, Shio, Tonkotsu…etc.

Miso Tantanmen is with minced meat and miso soup based. The flavor of the whole dish was very rich and it’s a great option for customer who likes stronger flavor. Wantan ramen came with a few wantan (dumplings with shrimp and pork inside) and a soup base like Shio soup base. It tasted good, but it’s not as strong and rich as the miso one.

Gyoza tasted juicy and delicious, nothing very special, very similar to dumplings we tasted from other Japanese restaurants. Noodle is a bit soft for our taste, and the overall combination for the ramen is average. It’s good value for its price and location. Nice decoration and very friendly staff though.

Food we ordered:

  • Miso Tantanmen
  • Wantan Ramen
  • Gyoza
